Device with huge potential

I have a wifi enabled Nabaztag-tag
its a robotic robot that can connect to a wifi network and has a built in rfid reader, also it has moving ears, lights, and a speaker that can read feeds to you. all of this is bundled into an adorable rabbit robot.
I can just imagine the potential something like this could have

Even to use it as a programmable Internet appliance is an interesting prospect. Though I would probably want to take it out of the odd rabbit casing...

Im havving trouble thinking at this moment on what parts i need to make a radio screamer/alarm

--- Lately my weelie bin has been stolen - TWICE  - and i want to make the 3rd stick around for alot longer then the first 2 did so i want to build a weelie bin finder/alarm

The plan
IF the 3rd bin goes for a walk i want to walk around the neibourhood pressing a butten to set off the device hidden in my wellie bin to set it off and find the GIT who took it in the first place or scare themwhen i see them taking it

i was considdering using a RC car motherboard and using the drive wires to hook it up to a rape alarm but its going to need to be smaller and weather proof and the whole unit can be hidden just under the lip of the bin

IE; hand held transmiter - receaver - alarm convieniantly hidden
