Aurbee Distributed Microcontroller

Hello there Hackaday!

My name is Lizzie and I am currently involved in a project called Aurbee based in Montreal Quebec.

I am sure I don't have to explain what Arduino is on here. Well, my buddies and I have been working on this project that will bring it to the next level by making it wireless, distributed and low power consuming.

In 20 days we will be launching our own Kickstarter and I am more than excited about it !

I figured if any forum site would like to hear about it, it would be Hackaday !

The beauty of Aurbee is you don't have to be an engineer to use it , Because as we all know, Arduino is already extremely User Friendly ( trust me, I know, because I myself am not an engineer and I learned how to code and wire it myself . You can watch the video of it here!: ) I learned to do a very basic control of LEDs, making them blink, wink and flash on our little lizard character Oswald! Now, Aurbee made it even more simple. My next little project will be making another character, who will be Oswald's girlfriend Roxanne, and using Aurbee we will make the two characters converse. I.e When Oswald wink's at Roxanne, Her eyes will flash with excitement! But wait...We did say distributed right? So let's say Roxanne and Oswald had 20 little baby lizards and we want them all to converse together, on top of that I want to control them from another room/city/country. Well guess what? With Aurbee we can make all that happen.

So you see why I am so excited?

I just found this awesome program called Fritzing and am practicing wiring Arduino with the same schematic I had for the Oswald video! Next up I will make a schematic of Aurbee and post it here! Keep checking in :D
