What to do with 75 9v batteries.

Postby jblanke » February 18th, 2011, 1:44 am

I work at a theater and aquired 75 partially used 9v batteries that were used in wireless mics. What should I do with them? I have already tried hooking them all up in series which created 600+ volts DC, but I don't know what to do with that. Cough up some good ideas and I'll try to implement them.

Oh man, be very careful with that!

You could use them to power say... hmm... maybe a bunch of LED throwie type things, like LED "gaffitti". They make 'em with 3 volt coin cells, you could tripple the amount of LEDs for a really bright throwie.

Make sure you keep it away from your collection of eighty seven pounds of steel wool.
