I've been bitten more times than I can remember by typos in spec sheets

It really sucks that documentation that you relay on has typos but what can you do... I'm glad that I've figured out what's wrong with it and fixed it. :)
Funny thing is that documentation, code examples and MPlab X code configurator generated the same error. :)

That turns out to be a 'chicken and the egg' problem - which was used to create/check the other.

I wonder if you go and check the doc's on a different 16F chip or an 18F series chip if the bits map the same -
