I will have ignored it as I tend not to like video for information, the musical crap that people seem to think helps really winds me up.
Interesting watch but I have already been there, what I need is something to replace it without forking out much money and without too much circuitry. It seems to me to be stupid to not use a thermocouple for this particular task and I am thinking that making a thermocouple amp and associated level shifting to fool the ECU is going to be the best way.
Mercedes have had four versions of this sensor now because it has been known to fail since 2009 and they still haven't sorted it but are happy to let the customer pay for their research and failure while they have fun making new ones that also fail.
