Power Supply Change for 5mW 515nm Green Laser Diode Module

Postby fragman » July 7th, 2015, 2:38 am

I have some problems of using 5mW green laser module outside my lab. Once I only need use 515nm 5mW green laser module in lab, no need of outside experiment. I only need to make DC input power supply(3V operating voltage) connected with power source, it will begin to work correctly. The projecting green laser beam is very stable and bright, as well as continuous projection.
But we have made some moderation on the project, thus we would need to operate this 5mW 515nm green laser diode module outside the lab. There is no electric power source to support this laser any longer. I don't want to spend extra money on buying a new battery laser, but just want to make upgrade of this laser module. Is it possible to change DC power supply into battery power source? I get this laser module here:

Please give me some advice and suggestion. If workable, I will make some moderation of this laser module. It is perfect if I can continue my project outside sooner.
