How to interface the LCDs of Sony Ericsson cell phones?

Hi,
I got some defective Sony Ericsson cell phones. They aren't the newest, but that's good, because of that fact, I'm sure there is a possibility to interface their displays to a µC.
The displays come from the models: K610i and W810i.
I'm not sure, but i guess the displays are pretty the same.
The main problem is the connector, I don't even know what kind of connector it is nor do I know the pinout.
Does somebody have any informations about this? Learning, how to interface these displays would be great, for everyone, because they are pretty cheap on ebay.
The pins of the connectors have to cleaned up. The cell phones were laundered @ 30°C...

I just replace the screen on my kid's ipod touch. The connector looks similar. Not saying it is, but its probably manufactured by some third party other than SE. If you find who manufactures the ipod touch screens, that might lead you in some direction.

Well, that connector looks a lot like the Hirose DF23-series, possibly you're looking for something like part number DF23C-20DS-0.5V for a mating receptacle.

As for pinout, difficult to say, this website: http://www.module.ro/sony_ericsson_lcd.html has what looks like a similar connector, but I don't know if that is correct or not (maybe try to figure out if the drive chip is the NT7525?)

Other than that, good luck to you, trying to get into these LCDs is not always easy when there aren't any datasheets.
