hardware debugger for cc3200

Postby cc3200 » March 9th, 2015, 2:06 am

Friends, I am brainstorming a board built around a cc3200 and had a question. How does one go about programming/debugging it?

(Not giving links, as it is my first post here)

-Do I have to get an XDS100 (a minimal general debugger-programmer from TI)?
-Can "foreign" JTAG tools be used? (like an Atmel JTAGICE3)
-Can a TM4C123 (CortexM4) Launchpad be rigged up as a programmer-debugger? In the extreme - cut the launchpad in half  and use the debugger half via some headers?
