Hi I'm Ryan, I'm from California and work as a Network (security) Engineer for a contracting firm, as a result I never know what part of the world I'll be living in two months from know. I'm getting more into electronics as days go by.

Anyways, glad we have a forum now, it's been a long time coming.

Hi everyone. I'm Tim Anderson, one of the founding members of the Transistor in Provo, UT. I've been at the forefront of the Utah hackerspace scene, and I am also an active member of both the Make:Provo and Make:SLC groups that meet here weekly. I've got a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Utah, and have been involved in most of the Transistor's projects, from the Gorduino/Minimalist Arduino Kits to the Zombie Defense laser tag game. I look forward to contributing to this forum in the future with what knowledge I possess, and hope I can learn from all of you as well.

Hi!

Hello to all members - have been visiting the site now for a few years I guess (no idea when I started!) - I like to mess with things, figure out how they work and try using technology in different siuations, although it does not happen that often now as free time is becoming tighter!

Well, im here for the ride :)

Lander.

Well, not much to tell about me. My name's Andrew, I work as embeded programmer, currently picking up verilog HDL as well. I used to do component repairs on motherboards and other PC parts, and after having resurrected quite a lot of them got myself known as a "Necromancer" =).
Also involved in a newly formed team to compete at 'eurobot' this year.
I hate arduino, window$ and ".net", prefer raw C, DIY PCBs, love old soviet electronics.
Well, let it be something like that.
My sort of a blog is here: http://necromant.ath.cx

Hello HaD!

I am a member of the hackerspace theTransistor. I am a programmer by trade, but also do a fair amount of server/network administering.

Also, thank you HaD for the forums. Fantastic idea!

My name is Anthony and I live in Ausitn, Texas. I am an technology enthusiast and aspiring entrepreneur. I have been following HackADay for quite a long time but am just recently beginning to get involved by submitting articles. I am excited to see the forum as I can already tell it is gonna turn into an excellent community of like minded tech savvy individuals. My day job is providing web hosting technical support but in my free time I like playing with hardware and developing websites. I am planning on going back to school soon. Want to get an associates in either Comp Sci or EE and then go on to economics. Look forward to talking to y'all in the future.

Anthony
