Are the classifieds not working? I submitted some items earlier in the week and haven't received an email nor have they been posted yet. Just curious.

Thanks for the forum - I'm loving it already and like finding like-minded tinkerers or should I say "makers". :ugeek:

There should be a way to contact editors to tell them their stories are wrong. I know I may seem nitpicking but it really bugs the crap out of me when posts are deliberately wrong and the editors completely ignore commenter's request for update. Case and point:

http://hackaday.com/2011/02/19/free-as- ... er-arm-kit

All the outrage caused by the audacious request to "Destroy a competing board" was a falsification dreamed up by none other than Jacob Woj who has yet to update his brash error despite the numerous comments warning him of this error. I'm sure NXP wouldn't appreciate HaD tarnishing their name, purposefully or otherwise, without any clear way to request the editor fix his mistake.

I've been a HaD lurker for a long time and this isn't the first time a larger mistake has been passed over in haste to get the 'scoop'.

I hope this problem is remedied soon.

Please, for the love of god, use a fixed-width font for the code tag. And syntax highlighting, if you can make it work.

Hiya. Do you think you could make a tweak to the stylesheet for .codecontent please? It really ought to be a fixed width font.

Code: Select all
.codecontent {
   direction: ltr;
   margin: 10px 5px 10px 5px;
   padding: 1px;
   border-color: #1e1e1e;
   border-width: 1px 1px 1px 1px;
   border-style: solid;
   font-weight: normal;
   font-size: 1em;
   font-family: "Lucida Grande", "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; */
   background-color: #1e1e1e;
   color: #FFFFFF;
}

Maybe just change the line starting font-family to read something like
Code: Select all
font-family:"Courier New", Courier, mono;

Cheers!

Hello all you pretty hackers :D

I am new to this forum but an old reader of hackaday.com, and I thik that is about time to start a project of my own.
But I am no't weary good at electronis and stuff so I did a quick search on these forums for "electronics circuit simulators" but I coud not find anyhing usefull.

Can you please help me and link me to some great software that would help me start with my simple led and arduino projects.

Thanks
